Ab Biotechnology’s review of the updated EU GMP Annex 1 guidance in 2022 set us on the path towards a full rebuild of our GMP manufacturing facility.  The rebuild is now complete and we are pleased to be able to offer you a virtual tour of our facility.

The rebuild introduced unidirectional material, personnel, waste and product flows. Additionally, the rebuild project resulted in a major overhaul of our Contamination Control Strategy, improvements made to environmental monitoring, introduction of continuous pressure differential monitoring, and enhanced segregation of pre and post-viral inactivation steps. Beyond compliance, the project brings on board efficiencies such as modern air-handling units that significantly cut energy use and a design that can be upgraded for future sterile manufacturing. The project has positioned Ab Biotechnology for safer, more efficient, and compliant production.
